Someone say, 'Bending the box'?
We do that every week!
When TEDx/Marin invites you to showcase your stuff, you mobilize. And that's just what
we did!

On Saturday, Sept. 9th, 2017 before an estimated attendee roster of more than 800 investors, financiers, tech, design and entertainment execs and nonprofits, and a plethora of people who invent the future, the Petaluma Radio Players
presented our special brand of:
Retro on Demand.

When attendees passed before our table, we invited them to participate in a live, vintage radio
AUDITION.
We whipped out a script, gave them basic direction, and let it rip!

After reviewing the audio takes PRP selected one talented TEDx attendee to appear in four Company's future radio theatre plays.
Our
FUTURE
plan
(l to r)  That's Associate Producer, Kendra Murray, Announcer, Iain Morris, and Supervising Producer, Ralph Scott making the case that vintage is back and Retro's on Demand at TEDx/Marin, Saturday, Sept. 9th, 2017. Using 3D-printed classic Shure-style mics, a state-of-the-art ZOOM R16 mixer, and broadcasting through a 1940 Zenith cabinet radio, the P.R.P. reps auditioned more than 25 attendees for a future radio play to air on Sonoma County, California's krcb-fm (103.3) and on the web at krcb.fm
Supervising Producer, Ralph Scott (left) and TEDx Marin auditionee, Laural (who aspires to one day have her own show), play a short scene from a 1940s gumshoe noir.
